Lisa March
MBACP, Dip. Couns
As a qualified therapeutic counsellor and mother of four with lived experience, I offer support in both online settings for individuals and in person visits for families.
I am an experienced and qualified Therapeutic Counsellor registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy. I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body, and I hold a Certificate from the NCFE in Understanding Young Peoples Mental Health. I continue my professional development and training regularly by taking part in relevant workshops.
I have experience of working within the mental health sector for the National Health Service, and the charitable sector. I have worked with adults and children - in areas ranging from working in a school for a children's mental health charity, to an IAPT service at a General Practice.
I specialise in breaking generational cycles by helping clients address and heal past trauma that may be impacting their present lives. Whether working one-on-one or with families, I provide empathic guidance, drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience.
Together, we will explore emotional histories, resolve underlying issues, and build healthier patterns of communication to foster resilience and create lasting positive change.
